Most of them also want safe products on the market, and to know that chemicals and medicines used on their family, friends and the environment, are not going to cause harm. As a Veterinary, and then Toxicologic, Pathologist, I killed many animals, while studying mechanisms of disease. In retrospect, some experiments could have been avoided, had I known more about altneratives, including applied Mathematics. I was guilty of ignorance and wanting to find solutions to disease in human and non-human animals.
